Like most people I have trouble finding gifts for my friends and family every year. I have even tried going the “no gift” route and that also backfired miserably. This year I decided to start early and went looking for gift ideas online.

At first they appeared to specialise in customized mugs, since they have a very wide selection of mugs to choose from. There are colour changing mugs (which I myself know better as magic mugs), frosted glass mugs and lovers’ mugs, just to name a few. But then looked further I started to realise that they are not only limited to mugs and that they have a wide range of other products as well: t-shirts, tiles, aprons, shoulder bags, mouse pads, and the list just goes on and on and on.

So I decided I will give them a try, since they made such a good first impression on me. I browsed through their items picking and choosing my Christmas gifts and adding them to my shopping cart as I went along. For each item I could upload pictures and give detailed instructions what I want the gift to look like. A mug for my dad with his favourite rugby team on it, a few scatter cushions for my mom with photos of my children on them, coasters for my aunt with inspirational messages, and so on.

I placed my order and immediately received a confirmation message that they received my order. They also notified my during each stage of the process and until all my gifts were shipped to me.

Something that surprised me was the amount of effort they put in to make sure the gift is exactly like I want it. In my order I asked for clock for my sister with four photos of her dogs on it, but I didn’t state clearly how the four photos should appear on the clock. Then they sent my pictures of what the clock will look like and they let me move the pictures around and change the numbers on the clock until I was completely satisfied.

The whole experience made me feel like I was truly receiving the ideal gifts for my family, each gift exactly like I want it. When my package arrived a few days later (they couriered the gifts to me) all my gifts were in perfect order. I almost went back online to buy some more…. I know I am a shopping addict .
