Why dont all countries celebrate Jamai Shosti , Son in-law day, on June 21?
In Kolkata, India,its a day when all Jamais (son in-laws) young and old go to their in-laws house and are treated like kings by their inlaws, with gifts and a great lunch and a lot of pampering, and its a holiday . I think that it should be celebrated world wide for the sons in law and make it a special day for them.
That does sound very nice! I’d never even heard of it before. Well just cause it’s not a nationally recognized holiday doesn’t mean people can’t celebrate it if they want to. It sounds interesting and a fun way to make the son in law feel special.
